Diana Travel is established in 1977 on the west coast of Turkey, in Kusadasi, which is reputed for being one of the most attractive cities of the Aegean, as it is close to the important historical sites including Ephesus, Temple of Artemis, Goddess Artemis, House of Virgin Mary, Seven Sleepers, Didyma, Priene, Miletos. In those years, when tourism by charter flights had not started to Turkey yet, Kusadasi had the advantage of receiving tourist groups not only by big Cruise Ships but also from the Greek Island of Samos which is only few miles away from Kusadasi. Diana Travel starts business by organizing daily ferries to Samos and also handling the land arrangements of the groups of various Tour Operators coming from Samos to visit Ephesus.
The start of charter flights to Izmir International airport is the mile stone of Turkish tourism. Diana Travel is one of the major players of those days and with business contacts from Samos, succeeded to convince some European tour operators to start charter operation to İzmir Airport. Consequently, Diana Travel became the handling agent of various respected tour operators of Europe like Jahn Reisen, Sunsnacks, Baumeler Reisen, Esco Reisen, Hotelplan, Akademische Studien Reisen, Studiosus Reisen etc
The company moved its head office from Kusadasi to Antalya in 1997 as a result of the growth of the industry in the other destinations and especially Turkish Riviera. Today with its headquarter in Antalya, Diana Travel has 10 owned branch offices in all major touristic centres of Turkey i.e. Istanbul, Kusadasi, Didim, Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye, Kemer, Belek, Side and Alanya and has been providing services of the highest professional standards and giving guests the opportunity to discover the beauty of Turkey.
