Diana Travel was established in Kusadasi in 1977. At this time, tourism was in its infancy and there were no charter flights toTurkey. The only link to Kusadasi was via a ferryboat from the Greek Island of Samos. Diana Travel started to organise ferry crossings from Samos to Kusadasi and also organised tours in the region.

In later years, contact was made with various European tour operators and Diana Travel convinced them to start a tour operation with charter flights in Kusadasi. This was a success and through the development of tourism in Turkey and increase of demand, Diana Travel was able to establish branch office in various destinations around Turkey.

Antalya became the leading destination in Turkey and therefore the head office was developed in this region. At present there are 10 branch offices which include Istanbul, Kusadasi, Cesme, Didim, Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye, Kemer, Side and Alanya.

Diana Travel is one of the leading and largest based handling agents in Turkey and has represented many respected tour operators from Europe. Currently, Diana Travel represents the Thomas Cook Group which includes Thomas Cook from United Kingdom, Neckermann, Airmarin and Thomas Cook in Germany, Neckermann, Pegase and Thomas Cook in Belgium, Neckermann Holland, Aquatour in France, Neckermann Hungary and Neckermann Poland. Besides, Thomas Cook Group, Diana Travel also represents Esco Reisen, Hotelplan, M-Travel, Tandem Tours, Baumeler Reisen from Switzerland, Hotelplan, Olympia from Holland, Swan Hellenic from UK, Starter from France, Nakhal & CIE from Lebanon, Aeolus from Slovakia and other smaller specialist tour operators. With its experienced and qulified team, in 2002 nearly 1 million tourists are handled by Diana Travel.

Besides the beach holidays which includes co-operation with over 850 hotels at Turkish coasts, Diana Travel is also very experinced in study tours and has been organising round-trip programs all over Turkey. Moreover, the company also has a very experinced guide team who are specialised in hiking tours, religious tours and outdoor sports.

Diana Travel also has a hotel management company which owns 5 hotels in Turkey, they are; Paloma Perissia, Paloma Side Beach and Paloma Beach Beldibi situated in Antalya region and Club Sultan & Apart Marina in Kusadasi. The company has plans to increase investments in hotels on management basis under the brand name Paloma.

The company also has a transportation fleet which owns 10 brand new Mercedes coaches and 20 brand new mini-busses. Besides the bus fleet, the company also owns 2 ferry boats opereating between Kusadasi and Samos.
