| Itinerary:
1st Day: Flight to Antalya,
Transfer to the Hotel, Dinner and Accommodation in Antalya
2nd Day: Passing through the
fascinating beach line, near the fishers villages, we will travel
to the Myra ruins, and then to Demre. Here, you will visit the theatre,
cave tombs which are said to be the most fascinating sightseeing
place of Turkey, and also to Nicolaus Church where sacred Nicolaus
was buried. Then, we will go to Xanthos, the capital of the Lydia,
where the Temple of Ionians, the Hellenistic city gate and the Acropolis
belonging to Lydian and Romans exist. We will have dinner and stay
in Fethiye.
3rd Day: Before noon, we will travel to Ephesus which is
one of the most significant archeological places of the Anatolia,
with the streets made of marbles, the Temple of Hadrian and the
Library of Celsius. Then we will go to Selçuk township and visit
the renowned Ephesus Museum. We will have dinner and stay in Kuşadası.
4th Day: After having breakfast, we will go to antique Hierapolis,
that is to say, Pamukkale, the nature's miracle. Here, you will
be able to see the dazzling Travertine terraces and the ruins of
Necropolis. We will have dinner and stay in Eğridir.
5th Day: Today we will have a tour to Cappadocia. On the
way to Cappadocia, we will visit the 'Sultan Han', the caravanserai
of the Seljuk. Before the evening we will arrive in Kaymaklı underground
city which has been used as a shelter house by 16 thousand people
in the times of crisis. We will have dinner and stay in Cappadocia.
6th Day: As in the common description "the image of
the moon crater', the multi layered interesting rocks have surprised
the travelers of this region for centuries. However, the only thing
that makes Cappodocia a fascinating place is not only its natural
beauty. Here, the wild nature of the soil, the Christian work of
arts; living rooms, kitchens, churches, monasteries and even graves
which are made by carving of the pyramid cones into the rocky walls
come together and create a whole within varieties and dissimilarities.
The top point of the tour is the mystic and architectural center
of the priest and monastery groups built in the valley of Göreme.
We will visit the houses of Uçhisar, the mountain village, by climbing
the slopes of the upright hills. The Antique Zelve town, far from
the main roads, is in the middle of four separate passages each
extending from the slopes of the mountain into one another. During
our tour, we will also visit a carpet loom. We will have dinner
and stay in Cappadocia.
7th Day: We will travel to Konya, the capital of Seljuk Civilization;
the program includes the Karatay Medrese in which a Tile Museum
exists, the Convent of Mevlana (the order of whirling dervishes),
and the Selimiye Mosque. We will have dinner and stay in Konya.
8th Day: The last day of the travel will start after the
breakfast; we will start with the famous Aspendos Theatre passing
over the Taurus Mountains with excellent view, and conclude in Antalya
at the Hotel you stay. This tour can be reserved insofar as you
make a hotel reservation. The minimum accommodation period is 14
days.
