Itinerary:
1st Day: Flight to Antalya, Transfer to the Hotel, Dinner and
Accommodation in Antalya
2nd Day: After having breakfast in the Hotel, we will move
to Anamur which is at the end point of Southern Anatolia. Here, you
will be able to visit antique Anamur ruins and the Great Mahmure Castle,
and move to Adana following the turquoise coastline. We will have
dinner and stay in Adana.
3rd Day: Before noon we will go to Edessa antique city passing
through Gaziantep, and then we will move to Şanlıurfa. There is Harran
nearby Şanlıurfa and very close to the Syrian border. Here, you will
be able to see the worth-seeing "cubic houses" which look
like funnel and are made of compressed soil. We will have dinner and
stay in Şanlıurfa.
4th Day: Firstly, we will go through the coasts of the Great Atatürk
Dam. Then we will climb up to Nemrut Mountain, the mountain of gods
and goddesses. Here, we will visit the grave of the King of Antioches,
and watch the fascinating view. After traveling antique Kahta town,
we will move to Malatya. We will have dinner and stay in Malatya.
5th Day: Today, we will follow
the Cappadocia direction early in the morning. While passing through
Kayseri, we will travel the old Koran School and the Big Mosque.
In the afternoon, we will arrive in Cappadocia and meet the first
flashes of the perfect moon. We will have dinner and stay in Ürgüp.
6th Day: After having breakfast,
we will go to Kaymaklı Underground City. Then, we will move to Avcılar
and Göreme passing through Uçhisar. Here, you will be able to see
the excellent wall paintings. We will have dinner and stay in Ürgüp.
7th Day: Today we will keep
on the south direction. There is Sultan Caravanserai very close
to Konya. Here, we will travel the Caravanserai that remains from
the Seljuk Civilization and then keep on going to Konya, the city
of the Whirling Dervishes. After visiting the Mevlana Museum and
the Selimiye Mosque, we will return to Antalya passing through the
Taurus Mountains. We will have dinner and stay in Antalya.
8th Day: You will be transferred
to the airport for the return flight, or carry on your holiday in
Turkey.
