Turkish bath
is a place, where physical and spiritual cleaning takes place. It
has settled in the Turkish culture for hundreds of years. In 1741,
Sultan Mehmet the 1st had the first public bath built in İstanbul.
Lights and colors create a relaxing atmosphere in Turkish Bath.
When entering to Turkish bath, you leave all the hastiness of daily
life outside, you change your clothes with waistcloth, you put on
clogs. At the bathing pace under the dome it is hot and humid, and
temperature reaches to 50 C. Pores of body are opened. Then, the
attendant of Turkish Bath massages your body with bath gloves made
of coarse cloth, and dead cells on your skin start coming out. After
this, a gentle soap massage comes. After the bath, you leave the
bath place with towels and pass to resting room. Here, tea is offered
to you. You leave Turkish Bath renewed, beautiful and tired, and
you come back to the hotel.
